It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Janice Irene Young Granger of Moultrie, Georgia, born in Cocoa, Florida, who passed away on August 21, 2022, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, John Christopher Young and Alice Farnsworth Meriwether (Grandma Cookie); her husband William LeRoy Granger; and her sisters, Harriett Bush, Bonnie Granger, Martha Branning and Mary Hutchinson.
She is survived by: her sons, Raymond J. Nunes of Moultrie, Michael D. Nunes of Moultrie, Steven C. Nunes of San Diego, CA, Anthony L. Nunes, Sr. (Vanessa) of Moultrie, John C. Nunes (Pamela) of Hazlehurst and George W. Nunes (Karen) of Valdosta. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren; and 16 great grandchildren.
