With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James Lamar Shiver of Moultrie, Georgia, born in Sylvester, Georgia, who passed away on March 14, 2021 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, H. S. Shiver and Earline McDonald Goodwin; and his stepfather Joe Goodwin. He is survived by: his wife Carrie Beth "Betsy" Conger Shiver of Moultrie; his children, Steve Shiver (Sabrina) of St. Simons Island, GA, Todd Shiver (Janet) of Ellensburg, WA and Damon Hall (Tanya) of Winter Haven, FL; his grandchildren, Blake Shiver (Lindsey), Elise Dennison (Chris), Andrew Shiver (Melissa), Justin Shiver (Bree), Morgan Shiver, Kody Stetter and Cynthia; his great grandchildren, Harrison Shiver, Julianna Shiver and Clara Dennison; his close friends, Nancy, Ronnie Wilkes and Rita Herring; and his niece Sue Caughman.
Social distancing guidelines will be followed, and masks are recommended.
