He was predeceased by: his brother Sammie Lee Myricks; and his grandparents, Irene C. Fuller, Addie P. Myricks, Sherman Fuller and Robert Lewis Myricks, Sr..
He is survived by: his wife Christine Harmon Myricks of Moultrie; his daughters, Mary Phillips of Snellville and Nekeria Worthy of Decatur; his brother Robert Keith Myricks of Atlanta; his grandchildren, Rodney Lamar Rice, III of Decatur and Landon Thompson of Snellville; and his aunts and uncles, Mamie D. Burney of Dublin, Juanita Myricks of Dublin, Mary James of Dublin, Alice Fuller of Dublin, Izell Fuller of Pennsylvania, Herbert Fuller of Orlando, Linda Bailey of Moultrie, Wallace Hawkins of Moultrie, Richard Felton of Moultrie, Pete Benford of Moultrie and Lugene Brantley of Moultrie. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
