He was predeceased by: his parents, Leon Thomas Mixon and Pearl Martin Mixon; his brothers, Bobby Mixon, Tommy Mixon and Rex Mixon; and his grandson Caleb Parrish.
He is survived by: his wife Faye Suggs Mixon of Moultrie; his daughters, Gina M. Hughes (Ricky) of Lee County and Kara M. Parrish (Tony) of Moultrie; his grandchildren, Amanda Dotson (Ryan), Jacob Hughes (Samantha) and Shelby Paterson (Matthew); and his great grandchildren, Kole Hughes and Khloe Hughes.
Visitation was held on Friday, April 4th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Westview Cemetery (9 Goff Dr SW, Moultrie, GA 31768). A graveside service was held on Friday, April 4th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
