He was predeceased by: his parents, J. W. Gordon and Lois Weeks Gordon; his wife Trudy Bauer Gordon; his daughter Gisela Smith (Steve); his granddaughter Sheila Croft; and his son-in-law Jack Gay.
He is survived by: his children, Judy Gay, Sherry Jean Chrisley (Dave) and Margrit Gordon. He is also survived by seven grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren and eight great-great-grandchildren; several other extended family members and friends.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, February 12th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the Cobb Funeral Chapel (2441 Camilla Hwy, Moultrie, GA 31768). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, February 12th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Calendar Cobb Funeral Chapel (2441 Camilla Hwy, Moultrie, GA 31768). A burial was held on Wednesday, February 12th 2025 at the Calendar Pinecrest Memory Gardens (2901 S Main St, Moultrie, GA 31768).
