He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Guy Paul Lofton and Myrtle N. Lofton; his nephew Michael Raines (Lauren); his great-nephew Lucas Wyatt Raines; his aunt Neva; and his uncle Irvan Nesmith.

In lieu of sending flowers, donations should be made to the Colquitt County Men's Chorus.
