With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Howard Ellis Knight (Moultrie, Georgia), born in Commerce, Georgia, who passed away on July 31, 2019 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Comer Knight and Etta Gladys Knight; the mother of his children Dorothy Nell Knight; and his siblings, C. J. Knight, Ed Knight, George Otis Knight, Billy Gene Knight, John Henry Knight, Lucille Knight Crider, Viola Knight Griffin and Sarah Knight Trull.
He is survived by: his wife Inez Knight; his sons, Randy Knight (Sybil) and Jabo Knight (Heather); his stepchildren, Ray Truett (Terri), Doyle Smith (Gail), Eddie Smith (Sheila), Buddy Rogers (Patty), Donna Driggers (Wilber) and Janice Lee (Mike); his brother Frankie Knight (Betty); and his grandchildren, Scott Knight and Tanna Knight. He is also survived by eleven step-grandchildren; over thirty great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
