It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Hilton Hiers of Moultrie, Georgia, born in Colquitt, Georgia, who passed away on April 19, 2023, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Hiers and Levis Linnell Richardson Hiers; and his daughter Sylvia Gay Hiers. He is survived by: his wife Linda Baker Cobb Hiers of Moultrie; his children, Jennifer Weaver (Jamie) of Pavo and Derrik Hiers (Danielle) of Berlin; his grandchildren, Cody Weaver (Tristan), Cassidy Weaver, Brandon Hiers and Blaine Hiers; and his siblings, Reverend Heyward Hiers (Mary Jean) of Berlin, Huey Hiers (Judy) of Berlin and Harold Hiers (Mary Evelyn) of Berlin.
