He is survived by: his wife Sharmon Wilson Sanders Rodriguez of Moultrie; his children, Monica Rodriguez of Hiaheah, FL, Garrett Carter, Sr. (Kimberley) of Japan and Landra of Lester, GA; his grandchildren, Garrett Carter, Jr., Lauren Carter, Scarlett Carter, Scott of Washington, Gabriel of Washington and Leo of Washington; and his brothers, Robert Cooper, Jon of Long Island, NY, Carlos Mesa of Cuba and Yorkie (Lola).
