He is survived by: his wife Geraldine Gay Waid; and his children, Nancy Thiessen (Royce), Peter Waid, Darlene McVety, Penelope Wilkinson (Kevin) and Amy Dykxhoorn (Jacob). He is also survived by fifteen grandchildren; twenty-five great-grandchildren; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and other extended family.
