He is survived by: his wife Mary Brinson Dukes Stapleton of Moultrie; his daughters, Leah Jane Stapleton of Jacksonville and Lindsey Brooke Stapleton of Jacksonville; and his siblings, LeAnn Stapleton Roland (J. C.) of Miramar Beach and Barry West Stapleton (Amy) of Forsyth. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
