With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gwendolyn Maire Colson of Moultrie, Georgia, who passed away on April 17, 2024 at the age of 95. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Jasper Millard Wells and Elsie Frances Kinnard Wells; her children, Vicki DeMott, Donna Karen and Brett DeMott; and her great grandchild Nicholas Martinez.
She is survived by: her husband William Marshall Colson of Moultrie; her son Roscoe Michael DeMott (Janet) of Moultrie; her brother Kenneth Wells of Moultrie; and her grandchildren, Donna Martinez (Rolando), Pamela Fisher (Ian), Lorrie McCarty, Tonya McCarty, Hope Barber (Chance), Brandon DeMott (Priscilla), Charity Noethe (Ben), Charisa Lakin (Mark), Sarah DeMott, Janna Crane (Hank), Abby Tankersley (Ross) and Michael Sears (JD). She is also survived by nineteen great-grandchildren, several other extended family members and friends.
