With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gayla Dean King Cobb of Moultrie, Georgia, who passed away on October 12, 2023 at the age of 73. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, James Henry King and Verna Dean Dasher King; her significant other Bobby Lavelle Cobb; and also, Ellen Gregory Cobb, Wilson Dewey Cobb and Dewey Cobb.
She is survived by: her daughter Ellen Cobb-Robinson (Jamie) of Moultrie; her grandchildren, Emily Cobb Robinson and Ethan Cobb Robinson; her siblings, Robin King of Moultrie, Jimmy King (Jackie) of Doerun and Lynn Clark (Glen) of Moultrie; her nieces and nephews, Amy and Joey Tatum; her niece Julie Ann; her nephew Rev. Stuart Bundy; her great-nieces and great-nephews, Anna Grace, Lydia, Brady, Katie, Jason Clark, Elise and Andrew Clark; her friend Beverly Peterson (Freddie); her sister-in-law Linda Cobb Hiers; and also, Lauren, Owen and Cora. She is also survived by extended family members and outstanding caregivers.
