He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl William Dean and Estelle Dixon Dean; and his siblings, Tony Lynwood Dean, Donnie Dean, Roger Dale Dean, James Dean, Tony Carl Dean and Emma Lee Virginia Tillman.
He is survived by: his significant other Patricia Ann Nelms Dean; his daughter Ashley Dean Hampton (Clay) of Moultrie; his grandchildren, Madison Hampton, Zoie Hampton and Zane Hampton; his sisters, Juanita Dean Eubanks (Danny) of Moultrie and Carlene Herrington of Kentucky; and his mother-in-law Mildred Massey Nelms of Moultrie. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
