He was predeceased by: his parents, Dalton Carlton and Lois Smith Carlton. He is survived by: his wife Dell Dykes Carlton of Moultrie; his children, Tony Carlton, Vickie of Doerun, Lisa Odom and Russ of Leesburg; his grandchildren, Burt Linnenkohl (Jackie Spadoni) of Thomasville, Whit Linnenkohl, Lori of Funston, Dalton Carlton of Doerun and April Carlton of Doerun; his great grandchildren, Lola Linnenkohl, Ty Linnenkohl and Ansley Linnenkohl; and his sister Pauline Pope of Moultrie.
