He was predeceased by: his parents, Julian Mims Adams and Charlotte "Elizabeth" Macky Adams; his former wife Marsha Shank Adams; his siblings, Richard Wade Adams and Frances Adams Crowell; his niece Beverly Crowell; and his nephew John Adams.
He is survived by: his wife Cindy Adams of Moultrie; his daughter Charlotte Adams Kegley (Seth) of Kathleen; his stepchildren, Chad Langston of Moultrie and Kayce Langston of Valdosta; his grandchildren, Aubrey Elizabeth Kegley of Kathleen, Annalyn Rae Kegley of Kathleen and Ryan David Kegley of Kathleen; his stepgrandchildren, Jacob Long and Kiarra Terry; his sister-in-law Evelyn Adams of Augusta; his nephews, Lamar Crowell (Wendy), Julian Adams and Donald Edmunds; his niece Sandra Hessey (Randy); and his great-nephew Travis Crowell.
