He was predeceased by: his parents, Charlie Butler Gay and Clydie Cannon Gay. He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Jacobs Gay; his children, Danny Ray "Fred" Gay (Janet) of Moultrie, Brenda Gay Key (Tommy) of Norman Park, Mike Gay (LeAndra) of Moultrie, Dana Gay Brinson (Philip) of Moultrie and Shana Gay Taylor (Lynn) of Bay; his grandchildren, Kasey Key (Kancey), Justin Gay, Blake Gay (Katie), Brandon Gay, Jessi Ray (Chett), Loryn Lewis (Matt), Jacob Brinson, Beau Gay, Cheyenne Johnson (Colby), Kirsten H., Danielle Price, Karalee Holton and Abby Taylor; his great grandchildren, Fallin Key, Iella Key, Jerry Key, Nora Ray, Kanon Pearl Ray, Eli Gay, Kam Gay, Emy Gay, Caroline Eidson, Cooper Lewis and Harper Gay; and his friends, Leah Sloan, Javan Morgan, Glenda Yates, Ann Spradley, Cathy Maxwell, James Beasley, Kendra Sloan, Stephanie DeLong and Cindy Newsome. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
