He is survived by: his mother Patricia Gale Merritt of Moultrie; his son Asher Callum Merritt; his stepdaughter Gracie Lenora Huston; the mother of his children Kimberly Carter of Baconton; his siblings, James Ramsey of Ellijay and Marsha Pledger; his aunts, Nadine Stephens and Judy Johnson (Jim); his uncle Tony Merritt (Annette); and his cousins, Billy Ray Truett, Todd, Dara, Anthony, Lindsey, Casey, Tyler Merritt, Trina Lollar, Tracy Kelly, Leigh Tyree, Derick, Brandon Truett, Julie and Jamie Johnson.
