She was predeceased by: her parents, James W. Fountain and Allyn Whitfield Fountain Simpson. She is survived by: her husband Dr. David Hopkins; her children, Christine Hopkins Forehand (Jon) and David Mark Hopkins (Amy); her grandchildren, Chason Forehand (Daphne), David Forehand, Jordan Forehand Denis (David), Adam Hopkins (Sarah), Paul Hopkins and Grace Hopkins; and her sister Wendy Simpson Cosner. She is also survived by several other extended family members, former students and friends.
A memorial tribute to Claudia will begin at 11:00 A.M. Friday, August 30, 2024, at Heritage Church.
