He was predeceased by: his parents, Claude Olen Lord, Sr. and Evelyn Payne Lord Croft; and his sister Diane Hall. He is survived by: his wife Linda Murphy Lord; his children, Claude Olen Lord, III of Moultrie and Denise Lord Edwards (Wayne) of Moultrie; his grandchildren, Chris Naquin, Cory Lord (Kayla), Christian Edwards (Anna) and Micah Edwards (Brittany); his great grandchildren, Skyla Naquin, Noah Naquin, Aslan Edwards, Roman Edwards, Moses Edwards, Selah Edwards, Ezrah June Edwards, Bearett Lord, Reign Edwards and Beckham Edwards; his siblings, Danny M. Lord (JoAnne) of California, Lisa Crapps (Max) of Cairo and Frances Barlow of South Carolina; and his brother-in-law Charles Hall of Berlin. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews.
A memorial service was held on Sunday, March 2nd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Berlin Baptist Church (312 Langford St, Berlin, GA 31722). A reception was held on Sunday, March 2nd 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
