He was predeceased by: his parent Charles Eugene Bennett. He is survived by: his parent Opal Matthews Bennett; his wife Peggy Barber Bennett of Moultrie; his children, Brett Bennett (Jennifer) of Moultrie and Becky Bennett of Valdosta; his grandchildren, Logan Jack Bennett and Brody Heath Bennett; his siblings, Chandler Bennett (Kathy) of Colquitt and Laverne Nash (Clifford) of Moultrie; his nephews, Bobby Cooper (Kristy) of Moultrie and Timmy Cooper (Wendy) of Moultrie; his niece Nicole Gaston (Matt) of Hahira; and also, Tom Clifford of Valdosta, Bert Kight and Brandy Kight of Moultrie.
In Lieu of flowers, the family asked that all donations be made to Autreyville Baptist Church 2434 Georgia Hwy 33 South Moultrie, Georgia 31788.
