She was predeceased by: her parents, Willie Estelle Cowart and Ruby Lee Gregory Cowart; her husband George Hicks, Sr.; her children, Kay Hicks, Aaron Hicks and Mike Hicks; and her sister Geraldine Cowart.
She is survived by: her children, George Hicks, Jr. (Margie) of Moultrie, Debbie Miller (Tyrone) of Ashburn, Steve Hicks of Gainesville, FL and Danny Hicks (Kim) of Moultrie; and her daughters-in-law, Denise Hicks of Moultrie and Missy Hicks of Leesburg. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 32 great-grandchildren, 13 great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, March 5th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Baker Funeral Home & Crematory (2222 GA-37, Moultrie, GA 31788). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, March 5th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the same location.
