He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Griner and Jewell Smithwick Griner; his siblings, Dr. Charles P. Griner and Shirley Griner Tucker; and his niece Wendy Tucker Jackson.
He is survived by: his wife Margaret Joyner Griner; his children, Denise (Scott Brookins), Keith (Monika Griner) and Ginger Jenkins of Moultrie; his grandchildren, Brooke (Reid Waters), Bobbie Brookins of Atlanta, Keaton (Clay Walker), Bryson Giddens of Norman Park, Garrett Griner of Norman Park, Shelby (Cale Cloud) and Sara (Josh Ott); his great grandchildren, Jack Waters, Amelia Waters, Cannon Walker, Kirklyn Walker, Baylor Giddens, Bo Giddens and Greyson Griner Ott; and his sister Ann Griner of Moultrie.
