He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl B. Gay and Juanita Folsom Gay; and his brother Charles R. "Ronnie" Gay. He is survived by: his wife Toye Milam Gay of Moultrie; his children, Stacy Roberts, Leslie Newsom (Johnny) of Perrin, Kim Hicks (Danny) of Moultrie and Ricky Stanaland of Moultrie; his grandchildren, Aaron Roberts (Cheyenne), Logan Roberts (Katlyn), Cameron Roberts, Megan Aparicio (Marco), Wes Guinn (Kamie), Sean Guinn (Chloe), Jo DeLoach and Samantha Hicks; his siblings, Greg Gay (Barbara) of North Port, FL, William Earl "Billy" Gay (Shirley) of Moultrie and Amy G. Boyett (Steve) of Sylvester, GA; and his close friend David Maule. He is also survived by several other extended family members and friends.
