She was predeceased by: her parents, William Hughes Moore and Ophelia Lewis Moore; and her husband Paul Maxwell "Max" Herndon, Sr.. She is survived by: her sons, Paul M. "Pete" Herndon, Jr. (Elizabeth) of Moultrie, William Hughes Herndon of Moultrie and Lewis Dees Herndon (Diane) of Moultrie; her grandchildren, Paul M. Herndon, III (Rachel) of Moultrie, Mallory Herndon of Moultrie and John Melvin Herndon of Moultrie; her great grandchild Maxwell Lonz Herndon; her sister Peggy Mitchell of Barwick; her sister-in-law Mavis Murphy (Rentz) of Moultrie; and her nieces and nephews, Thomas Murphy, Keith Murphy, Vickie Mitchell and Jeni Nelson.
