He was predeceased by: his father Autrey Hodnett; his son Michael Allen Hodnett; his granddaughter Isabella Grace Hodnett; his siblings, Henry Brown, William Brown and Jeanette Summerlin; and his brother-in-law Ralph Summerlin.
He is survived by: his wife Carrie Castleberry Hodnett of Moultrie; his sons, Dewayne Hodnett of Moultrie, Frankie Hodnett (Perscilla) of Moultrie and Alexander Hodnett of Moultrie; his grandchildren, Justin Hodnett (Becca Jo), Josh Hodnett (Summer), Gaston Hodnett, Kellen Hodnett, Donna Lee Hodnett, Jada Hodnett, Emanuel Hodnett and Levi Hodnett; his great grandchildren, Kristie Lee Hodnett, Emma Grace Hodnett, Madilyn Grace Mims and Brynleigh Lemona Young; his brother Albert Hodnett (Judy) of Moultrie; his sisters-in-law, Joan Brown of Cordele and Lanora Brown of California; and his daughter-in-law Donna Lynn Hodnett of Norman Park.
