He was predeceased by: his siblings, J. L. Rowan, Charley Rowan, Mildred Henderson, Maurine Neeley, Ethel Selman, Lucille McMichen and Jean West.
He is survived by: his wife Helen Hufstetler Rowan of Morrow; his sons, Kyle Rowan (Sherry) of Greenville, SC. and Lance Rowan of McDonough; his sister Shirley Brown of New Brockton; and his grandchildren, Shelly Rowan of Greenville, SC. and Holder Rowan (Noelle) of Greenville, SC.. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Mt. Zion Baptist Church of Jonesboro, Ga.
