Ruth McCallister Wood Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ruth McCallister Wood (Morrow, Georgia), born in Chamblee, Georgia, who passed away on May 21, 2020 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Homer McCallister and Bertha Fowler McCallister; and her children, Roy Wood and Natalie Lockman. She is survived by: her children, Margie (Bruce Herion), Randall Wood and Shirley (John Hicks); and her sister Frances Tate. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren.

Due to Covid-19 precautions social distancing guidelines will be observed during the funeral service at the church.
