He was predeceased by: his brother Jesus Aguirre Franquez. He is survived by: his wife Petra Saldana; his children, Katia Aguirre-Saldana, Erika Aguirre-Saldana, Julieta Aguirre-Saldana, Valeria Aquirre-Saldana, Santiago Aguirre-Saldana and Jose Aguirre-Saldana; and his siblings, Felipa Aguirre Franquez, Teresa Aguirre Franquez, Francisco Aguirre Franquez, Armando Aguirre Franquez and Manuel Aguirre Franquez. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
