He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph A. Griffin and Mary Francis Griffin of Griffin, Georgia.. He is survived by: his wife Janie Benton Griffin; his children, Amy Griffin and Andrew Dow Griffin of Atlanta, Georgia; his daughter-in-law Courtney Hanna Griffin; and his grandsons, John and Luke Ellis.
