He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Williamson and Mildred Williamson; his brother Richard Douglas Williamson; his parents-in-law, Charles and Dorothy Thompson; and his brother-in-law Doyle Thompson.

He is survived by: his wife Doris Thompson Williamson; his children, Alison Williams (Robert), Shelley Williamson (Luke), Jennie Payne (Allen) and Geoffrey Brian Williamson (Loretta); his grandchildren, Kearsten Jones, Caroline Williams, Emma Williams, Samuel Williamson and Carter Geoffrey Barnett; his in-laws, Chuck Thompson (Shirley), Cary Thompson Sr. (Teresa) and Susan Thompson; his nieces, Meg, Natalie, Julia, Breanne and Becki; and his nephew Cary Jr.. He is also survived by several great-nieces and nephews; one great-great-nephew; and several cousins.

In lieu of flowers, the family has asked for donations to be made towards the general fund at First Baptist Church of Forest Park.
