She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Gibson and Blonnie Mae Gibson; her husband James A. Parker, Jr.; her children, William Swint, Jr., Nancy Swint, Shirley Gordy and Rebecca; her son-in-law Robert Kay; and her siblings, William V. Gibson, James E. Gibson and Edna Blankenship.
She is survived by: her children, James A. Parker, III (Linda), Michael Parker and Lisa Parker; her son-in-law Randy Gordy; and her sister Catherine Verbeck. She is also survived by 18 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; and several cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Viewing was held on Monday, April 28th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Thomas L. Scroggs Funeral Directors (6362 S Lee St, Morrow, GA 30260). A funeral service was held on Monday, April 28th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
