She was predeceased by: her parents, Sam Preston and Addie Ruth Laseter Mitchell; her husband James Cecil Rivers; and her children, Sherry Rivers Dickson and Michael Rivers.
She is survived by: her son Leslie Rivers (Sheila) of Sharpsburg; and her grandchildren, Megan Rivers Nerowski, Ryan Rivers, Sarah Rivers, David Dickson, Brian Dickson, Brandon Rivers, Jeremy Rivers, Kimberly Rivers and Aleia Rivers. She is also survived by her children and grandchildren, Doris was with her church family.
