He is survived by: his wife Anne Childers; his children, Debra Cook (Rocky) of Jonesboro, Linda McCumber (Deejay) of Newnan, Connie Childers of Morrow and Mike Childers of Morrow; and his siblings, Barbara Burns (Andree) of York, S. C. and Bill Childers of York, S. C.. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.
