She was predeceased by: her husbands, James E. Hale, Jr., Roy S. Dunn, Sr. and Wayne Spooner; and her brother Jerry Otis Johnson. She is survived by: her children, Mary Nell Burger (Tony) of Snellville, Roy S. Dunn, Jr. (Sherry) of Morrow, Randall Dunn (Connie) of Hampton, James E. Hale, III (April) of Locust Grove and Jana H. Whitley (Todd) of Barnesville; her sister-in-law Marie Johnson; and her grandchildren, Tasha L. Dunn, Andrea Swords-Hamilton, Emily Monahan, Anthony P. Burger, Jr., Stephen Dunn, Jonathan Dunn, Tyler Whitley, Casey Whitley, Justin Whitley, Ledawn Toni Hale and Micah Hale. She is also survived by 16 great grandchildren.
