John Carter Jr. Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Carter Jr. of Morris, Georgia, born in Lakeland, Florida, who passed away on April 28, 2021, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, John Barry Carter, Sr. and Alice Thornhill Carter; his wife Doris Ovette Cross Carter; and his siblings, Betty Lou Roberts, Barbara Ann Carter, Albert Carter and Lucious Ira Carter.

He is survived by: his children, Terri Carter Willis of Old Town, FL and John Barry Carter, III (Lori) of Morris. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.

Friends are welcome however masks are encouraged and social distancing will be required.
