He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Henry and Virginia Hall Cannington. He is survived by: his wife Thelma Merritt Cannington of Morris; his daughters, Teresa Lynn "Terry" Lane (Robb) of Omaha, GA and Kay Heady of Hamilton, GA; his sisters, Thelma Lane of Spring Hill, AL and Violet Greene of Macon, GA; and his grandchildren, Charles Henry Cannington "Charlie", Kathryn Lynn Hopper "Katie" and Joshua Mac Lane "Mac".
