It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William Hollifield of Morganton, Georgia, who passed away on July 29, 2022, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father John Holifield; his wife Claudine Rogers Hollifield; and his siblings, Bobby Hollifield, Tom Hollifield, Paul Hollifield, David Hollifield and Pearl Wheeler.
He is survived by: his children, David Rogers of Blue Ridge, GA, Jeff Hollifield (Rhonda) of Ellijay, Peggy Carnes (Jon) of Ellijay and Billie Ash (Dellon) of Blue Ridge; his sisters, Ruby G. Miles of Ellijay and Bertha Davidson of Ellijay; his grandchildren, Brent Robinson, Dianna Ash, Crystal Sabaua and Laura Ash; and his great grandchild Sophia Ash.
