It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rachel Merrell of Morganton, Georgia, who passed away on February 14, 2024, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She is survived by: her children, Sandra Tipton, Russell Tipton, Candice Tipton, Christopher Merrell and Donnie Joseph Merrell; her grandchildren, Bobbie Loetscher and Coy Shane Nix; and her great grandchildren, Katelynn Cornette and Amber Cornette.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Cochran Funeral Home to help defray final expenses.
