He was predeceased by: his parents, Ruben Leander Biggs and Willie Edna Dykus Biggs; his brothers, Charles Milton Biggs and Ruben L. Biggs, Jr.; his grandchild Suzanna Biggs Mercado; and his great grandchild Cheyenne Mykaylka Mercado.
He is survived by: his wife Ellen Biggs; his children, Marvis Dennis Biggs and Sandralyn Filipek Dannelley; his stepsons, Scott Lee Michael and Rodger Nelson Michael; his brother Kenneth Wayne Biggs; and his grandchildren, Kimmie Filipek, John Filipek, Holly Biggs Winter, Deborah Maegan Biggs, David Marvis Biggs, Scott Lee Michael, Jr., Phaidra Lee Michael, Lilly Winter Michael and Derek Nelson Michael. He is also survived by six great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
