He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Beavers and Erma Lee Thomas Beavers; his wife Deborah Ann Nelson Beavers; his sister Mary Beavers; his granddaughter Kyla Rhodes; and his nephew Kenny Arnold.

He is survived by: his daughter Emily Beck (Kolbie Luckey) of Morganton; his sister Nora Lee Beavers of Morganton; his nephew Kenneth Arnold; and his grandchildren, Sawyer, Oaklyn and Judson.
