He was predeceased by: his parents, William Benjamin Joyner and Ollie T. Farrell; and his siblings, Jack Graham Joyner, Boots Williams and Beverly Jane Joyner.
He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth Montine Joyner; his children, Erica McCoy, Paige (Justin) and Jonathan Daniel Joyner; his grandchildren, Austin Salazar (Jordan Salazar), Alex Salazar, Andrew Salazar, Dade Joyner, Arial Joyner and Lorelei Maggie Joyner; his great grandchild Jaxson Salazar; and his siblings, Wayne (Sharon Joyner), Ben (Helen Joyner), Johnny Joyner, Joan (Tom Fava) and Thelma (Roy Shepard). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
