He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Barnes and Irene Deal Barnes; his wife Rebecca Ann Cook; and his sister Louise Barnes. He is survived by: his daughter Angela; his son-in-law Mark Newby of Dallas, GA.; his son Joseph; his daughter-in-law Diana Barnes of Morganton; his sisters, Kelly Stiles of McCaysville, Kathy Ritchie of McCaysville, Gloria Pless of Murphy and Barbara Matheson of Murphy; and his grandchildren, Lexis, Rylan Barnes and Tyler Newby. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins, many other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers if you wish, the family requests that donations may be made to help defray expenses in Larry's memory.
