He was predeceased by: his parents, Newton Wright and Lattie Arp Wright; his siblings, Billy Wright and Eleanor Davenport; and his half-siblings, Henry Wright, Ethel Turner and Leslie Botts.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Frances Wright; his children, Glenda Dorneice Awtrey (Stan), Keith D. Wright (Caron) and Carrol Danette Thompson (Harold); his brothers, Neil Wright (Vendetta) and Max Wright (Shirley); and his sister-in-law Betty Wright.
