She was predeceased by: her husband Edgar Tipton; her parents, Rev. Milan Grice and Maude Butt Grice; her daughter Joan Elizabeth Tipton Nicholson; and her brothers, Paul Grice, Frank Grice and Roger Grice.
She is survived by: her sons, Danny Tipton (Sherry), Ronnie Tipton (Lisa) and Keith Tipton; her siblings, Polly Nealy and Ralph Grice; and her grandchildren, Cherie Williams (Matt), Doug Tipton, Kevin Nicholson, Renee Carder (DJ), Alicia Stewart (Derrick), Christy Stiles (Ronald), Jamie Tipton (Abby), Jessica Tipton and Chase Tipton. She is also survived by nineteen great-grandchildren.
