He was predeceased by: his children, Jerry Tyree and Janet Alderman. He is survived by: his spouse Eileen McLin Griffin; his children, Ginger St Germain (Joey), Danny Griffin, Mark Alderman (Monica), Lori Collins and Scott Alderman (Liza); and his brothers, William Griffin (Mary), Dave Whitesell (Betty) and Ward Gay Whitesell (Sondra). He is also survived by 13 Grandchildren, and 7 great-grandchildren.
