It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dolores Gibbs of Morganton, Georgia, born in Copperhill, Tennessee, who passed away on March 12, 2024, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Willard Chancey and Myrtle Chancey; and her brother Gilbert Chancey. She is survived by: her husband David Gibbs; her children, Leah (Tom Jarrell), Gina (Greg Linder) and Bubba; her daughter-in-law Anne Gibbs; her grandchildren, Megan, Ashley, Doug, Nelson, Caleb and Rachel; her great grandchildren, Avery, Analeigh, Cooper and Talia; her brother Joe; her sisters-in-law, Barbara Chancey and Marie Chancey; and her nephews, Don, Keith, Tony and David (Dolores). She is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.
