It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Dennis Lee Setser of Morganton, Georgia, who passed away on March 7, 2025, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ivan Glen Setser and Grace Eliza Porter Setser; and his brother Mike Setser. He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Setser of Morganton, GA; his daughter Cynthia Johnston; his son-in-law Rick of Fayetteville, NC; his grandsons, Greg Caldwell of Fayetteville, NC and Alex Caldwell of Fayetteville, NC; his siblings, Judy Hughes of Morganton, GA and Steve Setser; and his sister-in-law Kathy of Fayetteville, TN. He is also survived by many aunts; uncles; cousins; nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, March 11th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Akins-Cobb Blue Ridge Chapel (7871 Blue Ridge Dr, Blue Ridge, GA 30513). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, March 12th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location.
