He is survived by: his wife Bonnie Barron Tyson of Morganton; his children, Kalin Tyson of Morganton, Kyndal Aiken (Kenton) of Kennesaw and Kasey Tyson of Blue Ridge; and his sister Wanda Rowell (Benny) of Ft. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
