He was predeceased by: his father Bill Taylor of Beaufort; his grandparents, Louis, Sadie Taylor of Sea Level, William and Addie Cole of Beaufort; his brother Errol; and his sister-in-law Glenda Taylor (Edith Kay Taylor) of Sea Level.
He is survived by: his wife Meri Bell Taylor of Morganton; his mother Carol Cole Taylor of Beaufort; his aunt Jean Cole of Morehead City; his uncle Larry Cole of Maysville; his niece Janice Taylor Creel; his nephews, Andrew Taylor of Morehead City and Jesse Kilgore of Chattanooga, TN.; and his pets, Rufus and Remy.
